The Maryville Corner Market has a long standing history in our community. It once housed Huff and McMurray, a local grocery store first constructed in the 1940's with a focus on fresh food and community. Keeping up with the tradition, we aim to provide these same values and products today. We want to know each of our producers and each of our customers because we know that relationships are the building blocks to a healthy lifestyle. Our personal interactions with our vendors allows us to provide you with quality products that are both nutritious and enjoyable.
One of our primary goals to educate people on the benefits of local, healthy options and say ‘these are the alternatives.’ If somebody changes even a small portion of their diet, then that’s a step in the right direction.
Local. Healthy. Community.
Encouraging Blount County to “shop local,” the market stocks as many local products as possible, including about 50 of their own product labels, and aims to keep their food and beverage selections confined to at least the Southeast region. We have built strong relationships with many pillars in our area such as Blackberry Farms, Eco Rich Farm, Benton's Bacon, and Knoxville's Cherokee Distributing Co. who are all supportive of our goals here in the marketplace.
We strive to create an atmosphere and experience that keeps you coming back time and time again for great food, conversation, and community.
Contact us anytime with any questions or opportunities you have.
We would love to talk with you.
